Pickleback Shine, a country rock band from southern California is pleased to announce the release of its new single ‘When the Morning Comes’, a tribute to the tragic event that took place at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival on October 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.
“This song was inspired from the actual events that took place that fateful night and the experiences of one of my fellow bandmates and his wife” said Dan Sussman, co-writer and drummer for the band.
“Fortunately, John and wife Tracy narrowly escaped the carnage that was all around them with only minor scrapes and bruises. Unfortunately, the emotional scars from what they saw and heard that night will be with them forever.” Said Sussman.
“Everyone knows the power that music can have on the healing process, so we thought it would be helpful to get John and Tracy’s thoughts and emotions onto paper and perhaps memorialize them in a song to begin their healing process. On October 6, just 5 days after that tragic night, we went into the studio and wrote the music and lyrics to When the Morning Comes.” Said Daniel Martin, co-writer and Producer.
“We hope that we can touch those that are still coping with this senseless tragedy with our song and perhaps offer a little hope, strength and solace in the process.” Said John Duden, co-writer and guitarist for Pickleback Shine. It’s been really cathartic to get out and perform the song live with the band and to see the connection we are making with our country music friends and fans.” Said Duden.
